Not only being a talented scientist, Morgan is also an expressive fine artist that is an expert in traditional media such as oil painting. Morgan is an active participant in the Chicago art community where she has participated in both showcasing her own art and helping curate shows such as group events entitled Don’t Be Scurred: Pathways To Liberation (2019) and Positive Patterns (2017).  Each show turned out to be a success where hundreds of people attended. Along with group shows, Morgan had her breakout solo-show entitled The Garden of Thought in 2018 that displayed a gallery full of oil paintings about life and human connection accompanied by unique, mind gripping poems she created herself.

Being skilled in both art and science has allowed Morgan to blend together her two passions to be an effective biomedical visualizer. Morgan has been able to meld together her two paths in life into one. From being able to develop interactive apps that help educate audiences on complex science topics to executing captivating editorial illustrations, Morgan embodies the true meaning of a being a visual story teller and effective communicator.
